The Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G feels compact yet substantial in the hand, measuring 76.5 mm wide, 161.5 mm tall and just 7.8 mm thick while weighing 200 g. Its front is dominated by a 6.67‑inch AM‑OLED panel that delivers vivid colours and sharp detail at a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels, offering a comfortable viewing experience for everything from scrolling through feeds to watching video content.

Inside, the device runs Google Android 11 and is equipped with 8 GiB of RAM, providing smooth multitasking and responsive app performance. A 4 800 mAh battery powers the phone throughout the day, and when it needs a boost, the 15 W wired charging tops it up efficiently. Connectivity is handled via 5G support, and the handset is configured for a single SIM card, keeping the interface straightforward for users who prefer a straightforward setup.

This variant

This variant is the T‑Mobile‑branded SM‑G996T version of the Galaxy S21+ 5G, aimed at the United States market and equipped with Ultra Wideband 5G support.

It ships with 128 GB of internal storage, a step down from the 256 GB options found in several other US‑spec SM‑G996U models, and unlike the Verizon‑locked or unlocked siblings it does not feature the dual‑SIM tray that many of those editions provide.

Compared with the Canadian SM‑G996W models or the unlocked SM‑G996U1 releases, this US‑only TD‑LTE edition is tuned to American carrier bands and lacks the regional LTE‑CA support present in the Canadian units, while retaining the core hardware of the base Galaxy S21+ 5G.
