About Xiaomi Redmi 9

The Xiaomi Redmi 9 presents a modest yet functional design, measuring 77.01 mm wide, 163.32 mm tall and 9.1 mm thick while tipping the scales at 198 grams. Its front is dominated by a 6.53‑inch Color IPS TFT LCD panel that delivers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 by 2340 pixels, offering clear visuals and decent colour reproduction for everyday use.

Inside, the device runs Google Android 10 out of the box and is equipped with 4 GiB of RAM to handle multitasking and app performance. Power comes from a substantial 5020 mAh battery, aimed at providing extended usage between charges, and the phone supports a single SIM card for connectivity.

This variant

Unlike the base model, this Premium Edition model upgrades the RAM to 6 GiB while retaining the same display, battery, dimensions, weight and Android 10 OS.

Among the other Redmi 9 variants, it is the only version offering 6 GiB of RAM (all others have 4 GiB or less) and is distinguished as the Premium Edition model.
