VinSmart

VinSmart Research & Manufacturer Joint Stock Company was a Vietnamese mobile phone manufacturer established in June 2018. As a subsidiary of Vingroup, one of Vietnam’s largest conglomerates, the company entered the smartphone market with the goal of developing domestic technology solutions. The brand operated under the "Vsmart" name, releasing a series of Android devices aimed at the local market. However, the venture did not sustain its initial momentum, and Vingroup subsequently discontinued its high-tech industry arms. Consequently, the VinSmart and Vsmart brand names are now largely unused, marking the company's exit from the active smartphone manufacturing sector.
