About Sharp Aquos R3
The Sharp Aquos R3 centers around a 6.2‑inch ASV TFT LCD screen that stretches to a 1440 × 3120 pixel resolution, offering a tall, crisp viewing experience for media and apps. It runs Google Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and is paired with 6 GB of RAM, which helps keep everyday tasks and multitasking responsive.
Powering the device is a 3200 mAh battery that can be replenished with 11 W wired charging. The handset’s compact frame measures 74 mm wide, 156 mm tall and 8.4 mm thick, tipping the scales at 185 grams, and it accommodates a single SIM card for connectivity.
This version is positioned as a global LTE model, intended for use outside Japan, whereas the base Aquos R3 targets the domestic market. Compared with the Taiwan‑specific TD‑LTE model and the Japanese WiMAX 2+ and TD‑LTE versions, it offers standard LTE connectivity for broader international carrier support. All other hardware characteristics remain unchanged from the base Aquos R3.
