This variant

This variant is the US‑market TD‑LTE version of the Galaxy Z Fold2, identified by the model numbers SM‑F916U and the AT&T‑specific SM‑F916A suffix. It ships with 256 GB of internal storage, double the base configuration’s typical offering in some markets.

Unlike the Canadian SM‑F916W model, which is tuned for TD‑LTE bands used in Canada, this US model supports the American TD‑LTE frequencies. It also differs from the China/HK SM‑F9160 variant, which provides 512 GB of storage, and from the global dual‑SIM SM‑F916B model, which offers two SIM slots. Compared with the US UW version (SM‑F916U UW), it lacks mmWave 5G support, relying only on sub‑6 GHz TD‑LTE.
