About Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2019

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2019 presents an 8‑inch IPS TFT LCD screen that delivers a modest 800 by 1280 pixel resolution, offering clear colours and decent viewing angles for everyday media consumption. Encased in a slim chassis measuring 124.4 by 210 by 8 millimetres and weighing just 345 grams, the tablet feels light enough to hold for extended periods while running Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

Under the hood, 2 gigabytes of RAM support basic multitasking and app navigation, while a 5100 mAh battery aims to keep the device powered through a typical day of browsing, streaming or light productivity. Connectivity is handled via a single SIM slot, allowing users to stay connected on the go when a Wi‑Fi network isn’t available.

This variant

This model is the global TD‑LTE version, giving it LTE connectivity that the Wi‑Fi‑only tablets lack. It ships with 32 GB of storage and is just a touch heavier at 347 grams compared to the base tablet’s 345 grams. Unlike the Korean and Chinese TD‑LTE models it is not region‑locked, and unlike the S‑Pen editions it does not include a stylus. Compared with the 64 GB Wi‑Fi variant it offers half the storage, and it differs from the CN TD‑LTE model by not carrying the upgraded specification found there.
