The Samsung Galaxy S25 5G fits comfortably in the hand with a compact frame measuring 70.5 mm wide, 146.9 mm tall and just 7.2 mm thick, weighing only 162 grams. Its front is dominated by a 6.16‑inch AM‑OLED panel that delivers vivid colours and sharp detail at a resolution of 1080 by 2340 pixels, giving the device a bright and responsive viewing experience.

Under the surface the phone runs Google Android 15, branded as Vanilla Ice Cream, and is equipped with 12 GiB of RAM to keep multitasking smooth. A 4 000 mAh battery powers the device, replenished through a 15‑watt wired charger, while a single SIM slot provides connectivity for calls and data. These specifications combine to offer a balanced blend of portability, display quality and everyday performance.

This variant

The SM‑S931U adds Samsung’s Ultra Wideband (UW) chipset, enabling precise short‑range spatial awareness and improved device‑to‑device ranging that the base model lacks. It is tuned for US TD‑LTE bands, giving it LTE‑Advanced compatibility with American carriers while retaining the same 6.16‑inch AM‑OLED panel and Android 15 software.

Storage is fixed at 128 GB of internal memory, matching the base model’s entry‑level option but differing from the higher‑capacity US variants that offer 256 GB. The device ships with the carrier‑specific SM‑S931T firmware, which includes US‑only network optimisations and pre‑installed apps not present on the global or Japanese models.

Unlike the other US‑market siblings (SM‑S931U1 and SM‑S931U) that provide Dual SIM capability, this variant keeps a single nano‑SIM slot, so users cannot activate two lines simultaneously. All other physical specs—dimensions, weight, 4 000 mAh battery and 15 W wired charging—remain identical to the base Galaxy S25 5G.
