This variant

The Premium Edition for the Chinese, Hong Kong and Taiwanese markets upgrades the device to a dual‑SIM configuration and expands internal storage to 256 GB, while retaining the 8 GiB of RAM found in other Premium models. It also ships with a Color AM‑OLED display, distinguishing it from the standard‑edition units that use the base‑model panel.

Unlike the US‑focused SM‑A536U series, which are limited to a single SIM slot and 128 GB of storage, this variant pairs the larger capacity with the same TD‑LTE hardware but targets the CN/HK/TW regions. Compared with the SM‑A5360 Premium Edition that offers 128 GB, the new model simply doubles the storage space without altering the RAM or dual‑SIM capability.

When set against the global Premium Dual‑SIM 256 GB version (SM‑A536E/DS), the only practical difference is the market‑specific band support and branding for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, rather than the worldwide rollout. All other specifications, including the 8 GiB RAM and 5000 mAh battery, remain identical.
