BLU Products, stylized as BLÜ, is an American mobile phone company headquartered in Miami, Florida. The brand name is an acronym for "Bold Like Us," reflecting its marketing identity. Founded in 2009 by Samuel Ohev-Zion, the company positioned itself as a provider of affordable, unlocked Android devices. Rather than developing its own hardware from scratch, BLU has historically functioned by rebranding low-cost mobile phones manufactured by Chinese original design manufacturers, including partners such as Koobee, QiKU, Gionee, Doogee, and Tinno Mobile. Since its inception, BLU has sought to expand its market reach beyond its domestic base. The company announced its presence at the CTIA Wireless trade show in 2011 and described itself as the fastest-growing mobile phone provider in its region during that period.
